Step into the past and indulge your senses on the A Touch of Tuscany – Ebenezer Church & Tizzana Winery day tour.

Begin your day with morning tea at Macquarie Park in Windsor, a scenic location by the Hawkesbury River. From there, travel via Wilberforce to Ebenezer Uniting Church, the oldest church in Australia, built in 1809. Discover the stories of early European settlers as you explore the sandstone church, historic schoolmaster’s house, and Pioneer Cemetery, all set among peaceful, tree-lined grounds.

We then continue to a Club Richmond to enjoy a delicious lunch in a relaxed and welcoming setting, the perfect opportunity to refresh and recharge before the afternoon’s activities.

In the afternoon, we make our way to Tizzana Winery, a hidden gem nestled in the rolling hills of the Hawkesbury. With its Tuscan-style architecture, Tizzana offers a touch of Europe in the heart of New South Wales. This boutique vineyard is renowned not only for its award-winning wines but also for its deep connection to the region’s food and heritage.

Enjoy a relaxed, seated wine tasting in the beautiful sandstone cellar door, sampling Tizzana’s handcrafted wines. Learn about the property’s 1887 history and its ties to the area’s early settlers. The estate’s tranquil setting beside a lagoon, surrounded by olive trees and vines, adds to the charm of this memorable experience.

After the tasting, take time to browse the estate’s gourmet preserves, vinegars, and olive products—all lovingly produced on site—before reboarding your coach for the journey home.
