Today your guide will entertain and enlighten you with tales from Sydney’s past, as we explore the colourful inner west suburbs that shaped our city’s history.

Our tour begins in Leichhardt, tracing the lives of early settlers, convicts, and wealthy landowners who left their mark on this vibrant region. Hear the stories of the influential Johnstone family and the Annandale Estate, and how these free settlers helped shape Sydney’s early growth and architecture.

After lunch at Ashfield RSL Club, we travel around Hen and Chicken Bay to explore the suburbs of Concord, Kings Bay, and Canada Bay. Once home to bustling industry, these areas have been transformed into thriving residential neighbourhoods with rich stories to tell.

We finish the day in the delightful harbourside park at Cabarita, where you’ll stand beneath the original Pavilion—the symbolic site where Australia’s Federation Documents were signed. Enjoy peaceful waterside views as your day of discovery concludes.

This is a tour that combines local history, beautiful scenery, and fascinating storytelling—ideal for those who love to dig into Sydney’s hidden past.
