Travel in comfort aboard your Coach Holidays & Tours luxury coach for a day filled with colour, heritage, and mountain charm on this springtime escape to the Blue Mountains.

Our first stop is the National Trust-listed Everglades House & Gardens in Leura, where you’ll join one of Everglades’ knowledgeable guides for a guided tour of the remarkable 1930s Van de Velde house. Admire the sweeping staircase, curved feature windows with Blue Mountains views, and the striking Art Deco bathrooms, all of which bring the elegance of the era to life.

Afterwards, enjoy a self-guided walk through the gardens using the Visitor Guide provided. The grounds feature cool climate plantings, terraced lawns, and vibrant spring blooms—including over 2,000 tulips planted each year. Entry also includes access to the Everglades Gallery, showcasing rotating exhibitions of local art.

We then make our way to Katoomba RSL to enjoy a hearty roast lunch before travelling to Campbell Rhododendron Gardens in Blackheath. Here, you’ll be welcomed by one of the garden’s expert volunteers for a guided tour through the unique landscape. Learn about the garden’s history, its rare cool-climate plantings, and the ongoing efforts of volunteers who maintain this breathtaking site. After the guided walk, enjoy some free time to wander at your own pace among the rhododendrons, azaleas, and winding bushland paths.

Return home after a leisurely and enriching day in the Blue Mountains, full of natural beauty and timeless stories.
