TOUR DESCRIPTION & ITINERARY

Day One: Your journey to the South Coast including Berry
It is an easy journey today of about 280 kilometres. Depart for the south coast of NSW & the beautiful Eurobodalla region. Our first stop today is the delightful town of Berry for a comfort stop & a morning tea break (own expense). Explore the shops, arts and crafts, museums and don’t forget the famous Berry Donut Van!
This tour is full of stunning scenery and vistas. Lunch today will encapsulate this with a stunning view of the beach and ocean from the Mollymook Golf Club. Continue your travel south to Batemans Bay. A warm welcome awaits you at the luxurious Lincoln Downs. Lincoln Downs offers superb facilities with friendly service & genuine country charm. Did you bring your cossie? A pool and spa await. Settle in for your stay, before Dinner at the Hotel. Your contact number at Lincoln Downs will be 02 4478 9200 (L,D)

Day Two: Batemans Bay & Cruise on the Clyde River
Start the day with a familiarisation Coach tour of Batemans Bay. Then all aboard for a late-morning departure on a lunch cruise departing from the famous Boatshed. Cruise the pristine waters of the Clyde River, claimed to be an anglers dream with abundant flathead & bream & famous for its succulent Clyde River Oysters. Cruise on the MV Merinda, past the oyster leases & wonderful scenery to the historical port of Nelligen located on a sweeping bend of the River. Enjoy a tasty fish & chips lunch on board.
This afternoon is a free choice. You can choose to return to the Motel for a restful afternoon, a swim or indulge with a treatment in the onsite spa or stay on in town & explore the shops or settle in at one of the coffee shops right on the water’s edge & enjoy watching the activity on the waterway. The Coach will pick up the shoppers at a designated time. (B,L,D)

Day Three: Braidwood & Bedervale Homestead
This morning head for the hills with first stop in historic Braidwood. Enjoy a brief town tour of this quaint village dating back to the 1820’s. In Braidwood the past & present are interwoven with old time pubs, beautiful Churches & smart cafes, galleries & craft stores operating in many restored old buildings. A few minutes out of town is the historic national trust homestead of Bedervale. Bedervale is a 450 hectare working sheep & cattle property. The Homestead was designed by John Verge in 1836 & the building was completed in 1840. John Verge also designed Camden Park, Menangle & Elizabeth Bay House in Sydney. The Homestead is the home of the Royds family & is packed with collectibles reflecting the changing tastes from the Victorian to the Edwardian era. Enjoy lunch followed by a tour of this unique homestead. (B,L,D)

Day Four: Milton
This morning visit the famous Pebbly Beach where you might be lucky enough to see Eastern Grey Kangaroos hopping along the beach or swimming in the surf. From here we’ll retrace our steps northwards into the interesting town of Milton where you will have free time for morning tea (own expense) and to explore the boutiques and shops. A special treat today as we visit Cupitt’s Estate for a wine tasting and spectacular restaurant lunch. Cupitt’s is proudly family-owned and run (they’re Rosie, Griff, Libby, Tom and Wal say hello!), the much-loved restaurant embodies the sustainable, local and homegrown principles they live and work by, using seasonal produce from their gardens, their Black Angus beef and ingredients sourced through their partnerships with local farmers. At Cupitt’s Estate, you will find a boutique winery, brewery, fromagerie, restaurant, luxury accommodation and a wedding venue – where the coast meets country. With fond memories (and a full stomach) as you travel the last leg of your journey home we hope you enjoyed your time in Batemans Bay & that the warmth & friendship shared on this holiday will always be remembered.
